CompTIA TK0-203 Exam and Details

The CompTIA TK0-203 exam is slightly different from most other certification tests as it is a performance-based option. In this exam, the candidates will have to record a training session that lasts between 17 and 22 minutes. If the submission is shorter than 17 minutes, it will be rejected, but going over a 22-minute mark is not a problem. However, it has to be noted that the judges will not continue watching after 22 minutes are over. A minimum of five adult learners should be part of the virtual classroom recording and this recording should include chats, questions, and other interactions between you and the learners. The instructional module should have a clear and complete structure with a beginning, middle, and ending. Only one trainer should provide instructions for recording.

The students can submit their recordings in one of few languages, including Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Dutch, German, and English. One of the last things that you need to know is that the exam costs $360 and its minimum passing score is 36 on a scale of 48.

If you fail your exam, you don’t need to worry as there is always an opportunity to retake it. It is also important to note that the candidates can appeal the scoring of a submitted recording. In this case, CompTIA will provide an independent review. In order to get such a review, one will have to submit a formal request and pay another $100.
